There is an abundance of animals at Chrystal Waters… Some are wild and some have been introduced to utilize its products or various functions. Animals are used here as a source of fabrics, pest control, transport, crop harvesting, aiding in maintenance, seed planting, security, and so on. I have noticed that the owners of animals incorporate their feed into the landscape to cut down cost. For example cows are kept in pastures with naturally tall grass so they can graze. We have seen a lot of different animals so far in Chrystal Waters; kangaroos, wallabies, chickens, hens, cows, horses, ducks, llamas, mini horses, possums, koalas, platypus, birds, reptiles, and insects of ALL kinds. A survey done on the grounds showed over 160 different types of birds and 26 different species of frogs. Cats and dogs are actually not permitted on the grounds for means to protect the abundant and ever increasing amount of wildlife. The wildlife here is not tame, they are really quite used to humans being around; although completely free to come and go on the premise as they wish. All of this gives Chrystal Waters a feeling that you cant get many places.
