Reef Day!

Today, we got up to walk the marina, which was just 15 minutes away. We then boarded the Silversonic and had an hour and a half boat ride to the reef. Our first dive was just a bunch of corals, it was a nice place to start out. I believe it was the nursery. We swam for about 20 minutes got aboard the boat again and sun bathed. We all definitely got burned, I don't think a single person didn't burn today. On the second reef we saw a white tipped shark, and a clam! It was amazing. I liked the third stop however, it was shallower and I felt that it had more diversity and colorful things. Also we had an instructor that went out with us and pick up things for us to touch and play with. I took a video, but my memory card was full so it was a short video sadly. Afterwards, we had a marine biologist talk about the business and sustainability acts they go through. It was interesting, that the recycled their oil used on the large engines. I didn't even know it was a eco friendly business.
Later, today we got fancy and went out to dinner, it was all fun, but was pouring when we were walking so naturally we all got soaked. The best part is when we were walking back, it was raining so hard, the most I'd ever seen. At the road drains the water piled up to our shins! it was fun to walk through but scary because there was lightening and thunder really close by. All in all, it was a very eventful and unforgettable day.
